Ascend: The Regrowth

Context

Workout apps trust a "mark as done" button, and so they mostly count good intentions.

Idea

Every day is a level on a hand-drawn map of a city rebuilt after the end of the world. Prop up the phone and move: on-device pose tracking counts squats, push-ups and planks. Shallow reps do not count.

Craft

• Four survivor classes, each with its own emblem and perk.
• A CRT-brutalist look, arcade sound and haptics, so twenty push-ups feel like a boss fight.
• The camera only counts: video never leaves the phone and is never recorded.

Outcome

On sale since July 2026. Version 1.0.1 lets push-ups on your knees count.
